Responsibilities
Basic Job Function:
Training customers across all product lines by conducting individual and group product application training. This training will occur both onsite and telephonically and will be on an as needed basis across the US and occasionally internationally. This includes, but is not limited to training small law, large law, federal, state & local groups

The job responsibilities of this position can be expected to change frequently as the person could be deployed to react to current opportunities.

The audiences for the training include professionals and their assistants at large, professional service firms (e.g., law firms, investigative firms, etc.). Delivery methods include classroom training, one-on-one training, and Web-based training

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferably in Education, Communications, Computer Science, or related field 2+ years experience delivering end-user software training. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Dynamic and engaging classroom presence Energetic and self-motivated with strong interpersonal, persuasion and facilitation skills with people of different levels, backgrounds and personality styles Exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledge. Computer, networking and Internet savvy

Able to work as part of a team, as well independently, accomplishing mutual team goals
POSITION REQUIRES a willingness to travel 60% of the time on average. Occasional periods of 100% travel may be required.
Accountabilities:
Understand and communicate the value of LEXIS-NEXIS to end users, customers & prospects through training classes or group presentations by articulating how the products assist in automating and simplifying everyday litigation tasks.

Ownership of each training situation to ensure students have a great experience and walk away with the information necessary to perform their role Demonstrate mastery of course curriculum and materials Demonstrate mastery of applicable product concepts Deliver high quality training courses at client sites and via the Web

Establish excellent customer relationships and act as a resource in meeting the customers needs. Must be able to uncover, identify, and communicate customers needs to appropriate Account Representative in order to provide superior service. Follow-up with customers by answering questions and supplying appropriate literature to accommodate their needs. Ability to balance internal and external (customer) activities.

Work well with Manager and other Trainers on the team to ensure all deadlines and client requirements are met. Timely completion of reports and communication to the appropriate individuals of information that results in the enhancement of end user product usage, potential additional licensing opportunities, prevents revenue erosion, maximizes retention of clients and capitalizes on revenue opportunities.
