Essential duties and responsibilities:

?  File employee paperwork for construction and salaried employees

?  Enter information for new hires/terminations into the HRIS system for construction employees

?  Locate requested files

?  Ensure compliance of all employee files

?  Audit I-9s to ensure governmental compliance

?  Entering Xcel construction employees? HR information into the HRIS system

?  Run federal new hire reports

?  Administer short-term disability, pension, unemployment, and workers? compensation forms

?  Conduct employment verification

?  Provide each construction jobsite with new hire packets

 

Requirements for this position include:

? High school diploma (or equivalent)

? Associate?s or bachelor?s degree preferred

? 3-5 years of filing and data entry experience preferred

? Strong verbal and written communication skills

? Ability to multi-task

? Strong attention to detail

? Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

? Strong knowledge of Lotus Notes

?  Experience using payroll system software
