Community Affairs Director

Your job will be responsible for carrying out the regional strategic plan for Wealth Management US markets. You will carry the responsibility of contributing to the overall daily management of the Community Affairs program, expansion of the function's influence on the corporate culture, and increasing external brand awareness of UBS. You will manage all Wealth Management US functions of community affairs including charitable contributions, volunteer initiatives and employee programs such as Matching Gifts, Volunteer Action Grants, Culture Card, Employee Scholarship Program and Take Our Kids to Work Day. You will administer the UBS Foundation and partner with the Foundation Board to incorporate into overall contribution plan. You will actively search for community partners whose functions coincide with the firm's philanthropic mission and allow for an active and visible partnership, and maximize relationships with current grant recipients. You will serve as a firm representative at local philanthropic events with community partners, both external and those hosted by UBS. You will collaborate with Marketing/Communications to effectively promote community affairs activities internally and externally. You will actively engage Wealth Management US senior management in programs. You will manage operational risk requirements and ensure compliance and legal policies for programs are met. You will manage a staff of three. You will be the liaison to other regional community affairs directors in Switzerland, EMEA, and Asia. There will be other tasks as needed.

Basic Qualifications
You are knowledgeable in non-profit sector and corporate community affairs programs. You have a minimum of 5-10 years professional experience in a related field. You have excellent presentation, interpersonal and writing skills. You have excellent organizational and time management skills. You have strong skills especially in the following competencies: client focus, professional behavior, teamwork, communication and impact, drive and commitment, managing and developing people, planning and organizing. You have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications
You have Administrative / Operational experience with private foundations. You have a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts or Communications.
