Compensation Analysts
Compensation Analysts Spherion has several positions available in the Washington DC metropolitan area for Compensation Analysts. The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting specific business units with their compensation requirements, including position descriptions and evaluations, FLSA testing, and salary administration. Responsibilities for these positions include:
Conducting job evaluations using market-pricing techniques and assisting in the development and maintenance of a market pricing database
Conducting equity analysis and develop recommendations for new hire offers
Researching, analyzing and recommending modifications to incentive programs to meet identified organization objectives and needs
Providing interpretation of compensation policies to HR Generalists and line managers including preparing and conducting documentation, presentations and training to HR Generalists, line management and employees on compensation related topics
Analyzing best practices and participating in the development of compensation policy
Monitoring compensation metrics data to identify trends and keep HR management informed
Requirements:
The qualified candidate for Compensation Analyst will have:
Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field and five experience in compensation analysis, with comprehensive knowledge of job evaluation techniques including market-pricing methodology
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical ability, including the ability to utilize statistical analysis tools
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint, as well as HRIS query and reportingMasters Degree in Human Resources Development and/or
