Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Compensation Manager to provide professional leadership and coordination in the planning, design, implementation, administration and ongoing management of the Company?s corporate (non-healthcare) variable compensation programs.  As an HR Team Member, the Compensation Manager will research and analyze organizational needs and market trends to develop new or enhanced variable compensation programs, methods, and approaches. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Plan; develop/design base salary and variable cash compensation programs Company-wide.

? Provide ongoing salary administration and review on a regular basis of the compensation programs and practices once implemented through internal and external research of performance benchmarks and critical indicators such as attrition statistics, recruitment issues/metrics, equity studies, and salary range variance analysis to asses and insure internal equity and competitiveness in the marketplace.  

? Participate in the planning and design of job description policies, standards, and formats; assist managers with the development of new or revised job descriptions as needed; oversee the maintenance and integrity of the job description web site.

? Provide leadership to management in the administration of the job classifications/reclassification process; responsible for the quality control of the classification process/analysis for both existing and newly created positions, performing and/or directly supervising analysis and job audits, as appropriate.

? Administer the Company?s Performance Management Plan; conduct audits to ensure timely completion of team member evaluations.

 

Education:  Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources/Personnel Administration/Management or related field or equivalent work experience; CCP certification preferred.

 

Experience: 7+ yrs progressively responsible experience in compensation administration; multi-state and multi-company management experience helpful. 

Skills, Knowledge and Ability:

? Advanced knowledge of compensation management principles and practices.

? Knowledge of job analysis and job evaluation principles, methods, procedures and techniques.

? Ability to devise, design and implement customized compensation surveys.

? Knowledge of career development and career laddering concepts, principles and processes.

? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to people and work in cooperation with others to effectively coordinate activities in order to accomplish tasks; must also be able to communicate effectively through writing and oral presentations.
