Group Duties and Responsibilities
HQ-Sales 20%
1.Program Management or Project Management..
Responsible for managing several training programs on the consumer sales side (retail, indirect and telesales). Program management duties include owning specific training programs from start to implementation, project planning, curriculum development, training delivery/train the trainer and measuring results pre/post implementation. .
Project management responsibilities may include new hire sales, advanced sales, and/or sales leadership training as well as trainer quality and/or measurement activities..
Spend appropriate amount of time in the field with clients to gather data, develop key learnings for training and feedback..
Conduct key administrative duties for training program including adhering to all budget guidelines, submitting all necessary reports, developing/updating project plans, etc..
Perform vendor management responsibilities related to special projects, curriculum development, and facilitation and/or scheduling of classes.
HQ-Sales 50%
2. Curriculum Development
Responsible for development of consumer sales training programs from conception to implementation. .
Assess needs to determine appropriate response (job aids, training courses, blended learning, etc.), and design accordingly..I
dentify processes by which to determine interventions to best meet the needs of specific situations, and develop training programs and educational tools address identified needs..
Develop training materials for new hire sales, advanced sales, and/or sales leadership training for utilization. .
Partner with client groups to identify program development needs..Analyze learning needs and partners with subject matter experts and clients to provide input for course content and/or design..Work collaboratively with other training workgroups to develop most effective materials for sales employees at all levels..
Design appropriate assessments, role-plays, activities, job aids, etc., as determined by needs analysis.
Ensure quality and accuracy of tools and processes by conducting end-user testing and validation..
Research outside training resources and partner with outside vendors to develop new sales training programs..
Ensure training materials and programs are effective and user friendly.
HQ -Sales 25%
3. Assessment Evaluations /Performance Consulting.
.Effectively manage pre and post class activities that promote optimal learning..
Responsible for performance consulting (including but not limited to needs assessments, focus groups, etc.) with internal clients to determine appropriate solutions..
Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of key training initiatives through the use of surveys, analyzing Scantron results and/or sales performance measurements.
Provide results and feedback to upper management and other internal customers. .
Modify curriculum based on client's needs and changing business initiatives..
Assist with measuring the impact to the business by analyzing course content relevancy, the training participants' attainment to quota or sales performance, and the trainers' delivery of the classes to ensure the intended outcomes of the programs were achieved.
HQ-Sales 5% Training Delivery .
4. Prepare lesson plans, training aids and manuals relevant to training materials for pilots, train-the-trainers, etc..
Deliver training sessions on complex/advanced topics including sales management training and/or advanced selling skills including pilots of new Sales Skills courses. .
Partner with Master Trainer to deliver train-the-trainer sessions on developed materials to area sales trainers and supervisors. ..
Assist with development of Sales Trainers including peer coaching, providing constructive feedback, co-teaching if required, and overall trainer quality.
Qualifications:
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Education, Business Administration, related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years sales training experience and at least 4 years experience in Sales Training, Organization Development or in functional group for which Training is provided/developed.
Multiple channel experience is recommended (e.g. retail, indirect, telesales, business).
Minimum 2 years sales curriculum development, sales facilitation/training experience and knowledge of adult learning theory and assessment necessary for curriculum development of management/employee development training programs.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Requires excellent computer skills in Microsoft software (e.g. Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project) to develop, modify and update curricula and project plans.
Requires the ability to provide sound performance consulting and the skills necessary to assist in trainer development, overall trainer quality, and the coaching of area sales training personnel.
Requires strong time management, planning and organizational skills.
Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and virtual environment.
Position requires an average of 25% travel to attend meetings, attend pilots, deliver or attend T3s, etc.
.Needs to have strong sales, wireless products/services acumen.
.Ideally candidate needs to be very familiar with our Retail core classes(GIFTed, FAST, CFSS) and GIFTed Developer design components.
