THE POSITION
a) Business Context

In order to accomplish this, Marriott HR is partnering with Hewitt Associates LLC to expand our HR capability to support our culture and people. A governance organization is critical to ensure the benefits of the partnership are realized.
b) job summary
The Contract Coordinator will report directly to the Director, Contract Management and will be an integral member of the HR Talent Services and Systems. This position is responsible for assisting in contract management for Marriott Human Resources (including the current HR Transformation). For HR Transformation, this position is responsible for assisting the Director, Contract Management in leading and managing compliance with the existing and future corporate level agreements between Marriott International and Hewitt by coordinating with the HR Talent Services and Systems Organization and operational groups to ensure appropriate execution of our contractual requirements. For the broader Marriott Human Resources function, this position is responsible for aiding in the management of all contract changes, including maintaining all agreement related documentation, procedures, policies, communications, and reference materials.
c) Duties, responsibilities, expected contributions
Responsibilities include:
? Help organize a centralized Human Resources contracts department. Assist in developing policies and processes for obtaining services from the Director, Contract Management, and ensure compliance therewith. Establish and maintain a comprehensive electronic and non-electronic contracts library for all Human Resources contracts.
? Organize, log and track contract review/interpretation requests and update requestor on progress.
? Act as day-to-day administrative point of contact for all contract related inquiries.
? Perform first review of contracts, amendments, change orders and other legal documents.
? Assist in the negotiation of contracts with vendors. Serve as a liaison between requestor and vendor.
? Prepare draft correspondence and documents for specific transactions using standard forms for attorney review; proofread final transaction documents; facilitate full execution of documents and ensure executed originals are returned and filed appropriately.
? Help ensure that Marriott performs timely on contract obligations (audits, reviews, deliverable acceptance, etc.).
? Assist in issue resolution and engage and coordinate with appropriate departments as needed. Participate in Issue Management meetings.
? Provide ongoing support as issues relating to outsourcing contract terms and procedures aimed at compliance arise.
? Assist in resolving scope-related contract questions.
? Serve as a point of contact or liaison between Marriott and Hewitt on contractual questions that arise.
? Maintain and support the contract change control procedure and log as designated in the Marriott-Hewitt Outsourcing Agreement. Process change orders. Ensure timeliness of change order execution.
? Assist in the management and maintenance of third party supplier contracts and licenses.
? Communicate expectations and standards with third party vendors.
? Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

THE CANDIDATE
A) experience
? Four-year college degree or equivalent qualifying work experience with an excellent employment record;
? Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience in contract coordination or administration;
? Working knowledge and understanding of contract terminology;
? Proven experience independently planning and managing multiple projects successfully.
? Familiarity with Marriott businesses, culture, and management structure;
? Background in human resources a plus; and
? Certificate from an ABA‑approved paralegal program helpful but not required.
