Position Description:
We are currently seeking a recruiter that specializes in hourly and temporary hiring. Experience must include warehouse and call center experience.
Position examples to include but not limited to; Assembly Technician, Board Level Repair Technician, Customer Service Representative, Inventory Logistics Manager, Purchasing Manager, Quality Control Clerk, Equipment Repair Technician, Shipping/Receiving Clerk, Warehouse Clerk, Technical Service Representative, Call Facilitator, Call Dispatcher
This role will require split on-site time between our Buffalo Grove, IL, Hanover Park, IL and Memphis, TN offices base on business need. Successful candidate must be able and willing to commute/travel as needed.
Successful candidate will be self-motivated, a creative problem solver, a team player, leverages a thoughtful approach, demonstrate patients and exercises sound judgment.
Sourcing. Identify and leverage multiple sourcing techniques to identify a high quality candidate pool in an efficient, cost-effective manner. Build, implement and document sourcing, selection and networking strategies. Successful candidate must have proven capabilities in the following areas:
Direct sourcing (cold-calling)
Internet Recruiting (posting and resume mining)
Employee Referrals
Job Fairs
Vendor selection, management & contract negotiation (Staffing/Contingency agencies etc.)
Budget creation and management
Screening & Interviewing. Work with HR and hiring manager to develop relevant recruiter screens, candidate assessments and structured interviews by position. Evaluate and implement assessment tools and testing as appropriate.
Facilitate the recruiting process in all phases (FPLC). Contact candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, work with recruiting coordinator to facilitate the client interview process (schedule on your own when administrative assistance is not provided), recommend qualified candidates to the hiring entity for subsequent interviews, complete references, present offers and secure acceptances.
Counsel/Prepare Hiring Entity. Prepare hiring entity and other internal staff for interviews. Facilitate communication between the hiring entity and other interviewers to ensure the messages and information conveyed throughout the interview process are consistent and accurate. Counsel hiring entity in issues of compensation and relocation. Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures and conduct training,
Turn successful interview candidates into new employees. Contact and stimulate interest among potential candidates and address issues or concerns throughout the process. Ensure candidates are prepared for all interviews. Continue to develop new strategies and adopt best practices to attract high-quality candidates.
Assume a leadership role. Take initiative and achieve results with minimal day-to-day supervision. Execute delegated projects and present new project ideas as business needs change without prompting from supervisor. Use knowledge and skills to contribute to development of recruiting function as a whole.
Position descriptions. Work with department leader, hiring manager and HR to ensure position descriptions are accurate and clearly differentiate role/responsibility from requirements. Re-write position descriptions as needed for external job postings.

Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of five years recruiting experience (FPLC). Experience working for search firm/staffing agency in addition to a corporate recruiting role preferred.
Must be able to provide references that will support expertise sourcing, screening and interviewing and closing.
Demonstrated history of meeting recruiting expectations on time and within budget
Must be comfortable with national scope of recruiting supporting remote Hiring Managers.
Excellent communication skills required as the position will have regular interaction with hiring managers and executive management.
Phone skills, FPLC, interviewing skills, negotiating skills, people skills, supports diversity, employment law, results driven, organized
Strong applicant tracking system experience required (Virtual Edge, Taleo, HRsmart, BrassRing etc.). Experience as a site administrator preferred.
AIRS certification a plus
