Contract Regional Recruiter

We are experiencing phenomenal growth and are looking for someone to join our team who can contribute immediately as a Contract Regional Recruiter in the Detroit, MI area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

?  Results-driven, full life cycle recruiting for entry-level and professional positions in a high-volume, high turnover environment Meeting/exceeding established benchmarks

?  Develop recruiting sources, recruitment selection, placement and orientation of qualified individuals for available positions in the assigned regional locations

?  May be asked to conduct or assist in the New Hire Orientation, benefits enrollment and associate paperwork

?  Basic understanding of labor/employment laws (in particular state and local ordinances)

?  Work closely with HR strategy, Regional HR and various operations business partners to achieve designed staffing metrics

?  Knowledge of advanced and traditional recruiting techniques

?  Heavy local market travel is expected in the geographic area of responsibility

?  Throughout performance of duties ensure compliance with quality requirements

 

Qualifications:

? BS in Business or related field (or equivalent combination of work and education)

? 2-5 years experience in direct recruiting function, preferably in a high volume entry-level environment

? Ability to travel 50-75% of the time as business dictates

? Excellent organizational and time management skills

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office

? Strong negotiation abilities and follow-up skills

? Ability to organize, plan and implement a creative pro-active recruiting strategy

? Proved skill in interviewing techniques

? Must have expert knowledge of HR policy, procedure, federal and state laws regarding employment practices

? This position requires heavy regional travel

? Must have a successful background in sourcing and recruiting candidates based on job requirements

? Must have a disciplined and strong work ethic

? Must have experience working with a PC

?  Experience cold calling new clients and developing client relationships is a plus
