Contractor Benefits Specialist- Hitachi GST

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE WITH HITACHI GST

Responsible for retirement plan analysis, compliance and administration including pension, 401k, deferred compensation and retiree medical; Handles 401k wire, data integrity issues with payroll, responds to employee questions; Responds to employee benefit questions; Develop, revise and interpret HR policies and procedures; Handles 5500 filing and other legal filings as needed; Ensures benefits programs are well communicated to employees;Assists Benefits Manager with other projects as needed in other benefits areas (health & welfare, time off, etc.); Conducts benefits data benchmarking and responds to surveys;Documents internal controls and procedures for Sox and other audit requirements and respond to audit requests; Prepares agenda and minutes for pension committee meeting. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three to five years directly related experience (or equivalenet combination of education and experience) in benefit plan administration, analysis and plan design experience with a specific emphasis in health and welfare plans, retirement plans and 401(k). Computer skills in micosoft office (excel, word, power point) and HRIS knowledge. Demonstrated verbal, written and stand -up business communication skills.
