You will be reporting to the Human Resources Manager and will be responsible for supporting our team in a number of different areas including:

 

Role Overview:

As a Corporate Recruiter you will be working with the HR and line management in sourcing, selecting and hiring high caliber quantitative and technology professionals. Your main responsibilities and duties will require you to manage the full recruitment and selection lifecycle for the region (NY and NJ hires). 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

? To ensure that all Hiring Managers comply with the sign-off process for the recruitment of all roles, permanent and consultancy/contractors.

? Adept at developing relationships with internal stakeholders to understand recruitment needs in order to respond to changing organizational needs.

? Brief recruitment agencies and draft advertisements for job boards

? Process the candidates on application, screen resumes and pass as agreed to Hiring manager

? Arrange interviews and liaise with candidates, manager and agencies (where applicable).

? Conduct first interview stage with appropriate managers and vacancies.

? Provide candidates and/or agencies with feedback from the interview process

? Arrange 2nd and further interviews as required by the role requirements.

? When decisions are taken to negotiate with the candidate/agency on salary levels and other related terms.

? Prepare contracts and internal sign-off processes to hire candidates, and agree start dates.

? Conduct reference checks on candidates and inform managers of outcome.

? Carry out on-boarding process to ensure selected candidates come on board, including processing required internal notifications etc.

? Background in finance and or technology recruitment experience desired, but not required

? To work with business line and agree and review terms to ensure that Algo is managing its recruitment costs effectively.

? To actively source other opportunities to hire candidates other than agencies, via job boards and direct advertising and employee referral scheme

?  To monitor and evaluate costs per hire on a monthly basis

 

Experience and Competencies:

 

? Minimum of 3 years of interviewing experience of complex roles, where careful probing of knowledge and experience in a highly technical field is required.

? Proven ability to work with all levels of managers.

? Proven experience of working with line managers to establish recruitment needs and challenge thinking with regard to the recruitment process itself.

? Ability to influence and negotiate with line managers and recruitment agencies to ensure a successful and cost effective outcome.

? Knowledge/ understanding of the industry in which Algo sells its products would be an advantage.

? Working knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.

? Needs to be hands-on and self sufficient in the use of technology and HR databases.

?  Full time 40-hour workweek.
