Our Client is a privately held, highly respected and profitable 60+year-old manufacturer supplying connectors to the cable and telecommunications industries. Revenues are approaching $150million for this global supplier with approx 1,000 employees, 400 at corporate headquarters in Syracuse. As one of the fastest growing connector/cable hardware suppliers in the world. They are known for its innovative staff and state-of-the-art manufacturing and research capabilities. The company doubled its revenues and production capabilities and grew 10 fold in the late 90?s.

In addition to 25+ sales offices, they have factories in the US and Denmark, China and a joint venture in St. Kitts.This family-owned business invests in plants, people, research, and fosters a culture that helps balance work and personal life and values open communication.  This is a HANDS-ON KEY CONSULTATIVE recruitment role. You will have overall responsibility for SALARIED recruiting and staffing on a global basis. They will train you on behalf of their product lines. Taking into account staffing for a variety of needs that include Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Engineering, Operations, etc., you will also be responsible for enhancing the internal system for sourcing and staffing.

 Bring your ability to effectively expedite projects within budget and time constraints while you continue efforts to provide exceptional sourcing to maintain a candidate pool for future positions. In addition, you be able to utilize your generalist knowledge to support the needs of this growing organization.

 Reporting to the VP Human Resources, there is a strong support team in place. This position does not have any direct reports at this time. Light travel will be required on a project basis.



Requirements:Minimum of 5-7 years of successful recruiting across all functions in professional corporate environment is required. (MANUFACTURING recruiting experience is preferred.) Proven track record of exceptional sourcing, assessment and selection skills is required.  Experience with establishing/modifying recruiting programs, i.e. college recruiting/interns, employee referral, sucession planning, applicant tracking systems, reporting metrics..etc. Strong problem solving, results driven, able to establish and maintain internal/external relationships and your passion for recruiting will ensure your success. Our client strives for open, frequent dialogue. COMPENSATION ? Targeting a base salary in the $60-80k range based on experience, plus full benefit and relocation package (health, dental, life, 401K, tuition reimbursement, etc.)
