An opportunity currently exists at our Portland, OR location.

 

DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

 

In this key role, you will direct Human Resources and provide critical support, coaching and counseling to local executive management. Daily activities include employee relations, performance management, training, recruitment, benefits administration, union avoidance, HRIS administration and compliance with governmental regulations and company human resources policies. Additionally, you will coordinate worker?s compensation and handle progressive discipline/terminations, conferring regularly with Corporate Human Resources.

 

Successful candidate must possess a Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, HR or related field, 10 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with a minimum of 3 years of management experience. The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Professional certification and prior experience in a service industry is strongly preferred.
