DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES, CENTRAL MARKET
Central Market is a destination, fresh market for people who are passionate about food. From prep-less produce to our chef-prepared meals, we'll save you time and money every time you shop with us. Central Market has seven units all currently located in Texas.
Responsibilities:
Directs the Central Market Division Human Resource function for multiple locations. Provides strategic leadership and HR consultancy to the business unit. Serves as an integral business partner on the Division?s leadership team.
Establishes and implements functional goals, direction and strategy directly linked to the success of the business plan. Leads efforts in identification and assessment of needs in areas of partner and management development. This includes training, leadership coaching, feedback delivery, performance management, succession planning and partner retention.
Provides Human Resource counsel and direction to the Division in all aspects of Partner relations.
Leads the creation of a proactive world class recruiting function. Provides expertise and innovation in sourcing, evaluation, recruitment, assimilation and retention of talent at all levels. Develops innovative strategies to build and maintain a talent based organization.
Plans and strategically manages complex projects establishing goals and outcomes that will support the business direction.
Provides thought leadership and is the catalyst and owner of all Human Resource actions in support of a unique growth organization. Possesses a strong drive for results and translates strategic direction into concrete action steps.
Sustains and fosters growth of the special spirit and culture of the Central Market organization as the business expands.
Qualifications:
? 10+ years experience in Human Resources or related area.
? 5-7 years leadership experience at Area Manager or Director level.
? Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, Master?s degree preferred.
? Multi state retail experience preferred.
? Strong skills in business financials, budgeting and expense control.
? Proven ability in areas of conflict management, coaching and development.
? Demonstrated effectiveness in a fast paced, change-oriented work environment.
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in one-on-one and group situations, with the ability to effectively work within all levels of the organization.
? Advanced level facilitation and project management skills.
? Demonstrated success in working complex issues with senior management utilizing highly developed influencing skills.
? Strong experience in Recruiting and Retention.
? Demonstrated experience in Compensation
? Strong background in various aspects of Labor Relations.
? SPHR certification preferred.
? Multi Unit experience preferred.
