Data Entry Specialist, HR Information Center

Adecco is currently looking to hire a part-time (hours and days are flexible) Data Entry Specialist, HR Information Center to work at a consumer products company located in New York City. This person will primarily be responsible for the entry of data into an SAP HR system. The HR information center functions as a call center, data entry hub, and vendor management department for all activities surrounding core data maintenance, health care administration, DB/DC administration, and retirement processing.

This person will receive extensive technical training on the correct maintenance of personal and organizational data in SAP HR. Responsibilities will include:
-Entering time sensitive transactional data into SAP HR for all core personnel events, e.g. hires/re-hires, salary changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
-Supporting the HR InfoCenter with health benefits data entry and other activites during annual enrollment and other peak activity periods.
-Assisting the HR InfoCenter on varied project assignments, including continuous improvement and enhancement initiatives for better data and less labor-intensive processes.
-Helping InfoCenter personnel with any other activities and tasks as they arise.

Qualifications:
Associates degree is preferred but not essential
Experience with HRIS Software, especially SAP HR, a strong plus; PeopleSoft also a positive.
Familiarity with core HR data and concepts/prior work in an HR organization a strong plus.
Self-starting individual who can work in a lean, fast-paced environment.
Highly customer service oriented.

Salary commensurate with experience.
