Dir-HR Generalist

Description:
In this strategic business partner/HR leadership role, you will be providing primary HR support to the Ameriprise Financial Technology organization, and will provide back up support for the Service Delivery as needed.

This position is responsible for helping to create and drive a high performance culture by supporting Technology leadership in establishing and leading people strategies to ensure achievement of business objectives in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The Director-HR Generalist will provide proactive, innovative and customer focused HR solutions that are based on knowledge of the business, employees and established objectives. This includes culture transformation, workforce management/planning, talent development, performance management, management of high impact employee relations issues, HR /legal compliance, compensation and benefits, employee engagement and satisfaction, reward and recognition, process implementation, and administration.

Qualifications:
Accomplished HR professional with solid organizational relationship and HR experience is essential. Proven consultancy and influencing skills at executive and senior business leader level, including demonstrated ability to add value to the business and deliver results. Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and deliver end to end solutions for multiple businesses. Demonstrates project management skills, strategic thinking and tactical implementation skills. Can integrate information from many perspectives (HR, business, competitive) and synthesize into meaningful recommendations and solutions. Excellent understanding of Ameriprise Financial business, financial industry or Technology organizations. Demonstrates strong commitment to teamwork. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years HR related experience. Deep business and leadership knowledge with the ability to quickly assimilate existing and start-up business areas. Employment law and HR generalist experience preferred. SPHR, PHR, or post graduate degree preferred.
