Basic Functions:
This position insures that the company's top talent are proactively developed and managed and is accountable for the design, development and delivery of processes, programs, and systems which enable and facilitate the selection, assessment, development and strategic movement of senior and highest potential leadership talent across Tyco Electronics. This role insures that our senior leaders and successor pipelines are optimally aligned to deliver on business strategies and desired results.
This position collaborates heavily with the ODL Council to insure strong integration and alignment of all systems, processes, and outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
' Oversee the development, continuous improvement, and delivery of a sustainable and robust Tyco Electronics Organization Leadership Review process.
' Develop, monitor, and facilitate the executive slating process to insure appropriate cross-enterprise consideration for key vacancies and executive development.
' Oversee and facilitate the talent acquisition and placement for top talent including management of sourcing and selection strategies in alignment with the core Talent Acquisition model.
' Proactively partner with business and HR leaders to insure timely and robust development plans including next assignments and experiences are in place for top talent.
' Build and proactively manage accelerated or high potential leadership pool(s) on an enterprise scale.
' Serve as a shared technical expert resource for talent movement and succession management strategies beyond the top talent population as needed.
' Bachelors degree in Organization/Business or related with 10+ years of related and applied work experience; masters degree preferred
' Must possess specialized technical depth in leadership development with results delivered in global business context
' Sound business acumen with corresponding analytical and judgment skills
' Particularly strong skills and experience in evaluating senior-level talent in a major corporation
' Excellent collaborative/consultative skills at variety of organization levels
' Strong written/oral and facilitation skills
' Adaptable and innovative in design and execution of programs, processes and solutions
' Experience leading, developing, refining a highly effective succession planning process in a company recognized for its approach and application
' Strong project management skills
