Director of Stores Recruiting

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. operates under the nameplates of Bon-Ton, Bergner's, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's and Younkers.  With 279 stores in 23 states, we are the second largest regional department store in the country.  The total company sales volume is $3.4 billion.  The responsibilities of the Director of Stores Recruiting are as follows but not limited to: Overall responsibility for executing the strategy to recruit salaried store executives within the organization.  Manages 5 Regional Store Recruiters responsible for recruiting internal and external store management candidates to fill vacancies and new positions as needed.  Works closely with Directors of Stores, Regional Store Directors, and Store Managers in the recruitment function.  Directs various recruitment activities to include internet recruiting, recruitment functions to fill Sales Manager in Training classes, cold calling external candidates, as well as identifying internal managers ready to move to the next level.  Job location: preferably Milwaukee, however there is flexibility to consider an alternate location.

 

The candidate we seek will have a Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of recruitment experience.  Proven track record of successful recruitment results, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and self motivated.
