Document Control Coordinator

Des Plaines company is looking for an experienced Document Control Coordinator who has previously worked with Engineering specifications, standards and drawings from a revision quality control perspective. Will interface with engineering Project Managers and Project/Process Engineers regarding status of documents. Will communicate with Manager on the progress of assigned tasks, will archive and record retention of original Engineering documents. Must be able to make sound decisions on work flow and business needs of design work. Consult and coordinate with those assisting outside of Document Release Control.
Skills required: MS Word, Excel. Experience with Access is helpful. Knowledge of Engineering vocabulary is a must.
