Driver Recruiter/Driver Manager

Well Established Transportation company seeks a Candidate with experience in Recruiting and the Management of Drivers. This position is critical to the success of the organization and this is an Immediate Need!







Duties:

 
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, educational institutions, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.

 
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.  Maintains all driver qualification files, including all background screenings

 
 Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and emphasizing benefits and perks.

 
  Manages safety training program, and provides leadership role in all safety activities including accident investigations and disciplinary program

 
Maintained companies drug and alcohol program including all random screenings.  Maintains company'ssubstance abuse program.

 
  Managed workers? compensation process and acted as internal liaison for outside resources related to workers? compensation

 
  Liaison for company with state and federal DOT officials

 
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; recommending new procedures; conducting training.

 
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
