EXPERIENCED RECRUITING MANAGER

Executive Recruiter Office Manager

New and innovative hospitality search firm specializing in all levels of executive and managements placements is interviewing for experienced Recruiting Manager/ Human Resource manager to operate the San Francisco office.

 

This is a hands-on position with the Recruiting Manager actively participating in the recruiting process.  LOCAL candidates with Hospitality background strongly preferred.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Manages the daily operations of the recruiting staff, while assisting partners in selection, training, and development of new employees, directing the efforts of a team of Recruiters and/or Senior Search Consultants in building a business unit.

 

Actively spearhead the weekly activity meeting for Recruiting Specialists. Discuss current and potential issues, recommend or facilitate resolutions, assure the proper recruiting resources are deployed to assure coverage of requirements, etc.  Moreover, shall be responsible for monitoring performance / productivity of staff against goals and managing the recruiting staff to those goals.

 

Maintains resume-tracking systems to speed the process of identifying qualified candidates. Ensures consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns. Must readily adapt strategies to adjust to changing market and internal customer conditions

 

 Additionally, assisting managing partners in business development of new clients. Conducting general marketing calls to employers with the purpose of obtaining job orders or search assignments, attending conferences, conventions, trade shows, etc to learn about the industry with the objective of beginning the process of building relationships with employers by obtaining repeat business with them.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

? Keen Understanding of recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures.

? Considerable knowledge of Recruiting desktop tools, applications and other resources that support the requirements of the position.

? Previous restaurant/hotel/hospitality management experience in operations.

? Strong knowledge of Federal, State and Local Employment laws and regulations.

?  Demonstrated record of creative non-fee based sourcing techniques.

?  Experience managing a team of up to 6 people.

?  Excellent leadership, communication and presentation abilities, as well as analytical and problem solving skills.

? Strong interpersonal skills.

? Proficiency in conducting interviews.

? Strong organizational and time-management skills.

? Ability to maintain high-level of confidentiality.

 

Required Education/Background:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in general business management, human resources or other related field preferred. 5+ years experience in recruiting.

 

Base Salary, benefits, and Commission all negotiable, to be tailored to chosen candidate.
