Employee Relations Consultant
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Identifies employee issues and creates pro-active action plans with respective departments.
? Participates in the coordination of annual employee feedback survey for purposes of identifying respective Supervisors/Managers who need action plans to enhance performance.
? Resolves and investigates employee relations issues. Provides counsel to employees and all levels of management on company policies/procedures.
? Conducts investigations with departments on an as-needed basis and follows up with departments to ensure compliance, including department retention audits.
? Identifies retention issues and creates pro-active plans with respective departments.
? Conducts the Employee Discipline Appeal program and presents options to management to overcome issues that prevent the most effective manner of conducting business.
? Responsible for project management as well as establishing and meeting timelines. Needs to have attention to detail and be able to follow-through. Must be able to multi-task.
? Develops professional relationships with all levels of employees.
? Organizes and executes departmental climate surveys and provides analysis/recommendations to management.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor?s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration is required along with 4 years experience in Human Resources Department.
? Strong employee relations skills, especially in investigations.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as negotiating skills.
? Ability to handle multiple tasks.
? Able to work a flexible schedule.
? Requires ability to incorporate creative and innovative approaches to various projects by taking initiative and working independently.
? Ability to use deductive reasoning and analytical thinking when working with departments on investigations.
? Ability to counsel employees on sensitive/confidential matters.
? Proficiency required in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
? Ability to work with employees at all levels of management.
