Employee Relations Specialist

Position is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective employee relations through the uniform and equitable application of organization policies, procedures, and employment law. Position is specifically responsible for researching and resolving employee grievances; providing guidance to field management in interpreting company policy and employment law; advising field

management on harassment/discrimination investigations; facilitating employment law training for various field and Home Office parties; etc.

Qualifications required
2-4 years ER/HR related experience & Bachelor?s degree in human resources, industrial relations or employment law-related field; OR equivalent work experience.
Strong knowledge of employment law and general human resource issues;
Strong analytical and decision making skills;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Proficient computer skills.

Preferred
Experience with preparing written responses to EEOC or state agencies (i.e. DOL).Managers receive a generous compensation plan, including:
