Employment Specialist (2006-95)

Description

JOB PURPOSE
Working independently, the Employment Specialist recruits and interviews for positions within all areas of Customer Care and non-exempt positions throughout the Company.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilizes timely, creative and cost-effective sourcing techniques that provide high-quality candidates to the Customer Care organization.
Reacts with urgency to meet the employment needs of the Response Center.
Develops partnerships with line managers and others within client group that provide for high levels of customer service and process efficiency.
Drives for continuous improvement throughout all phases of the interview, selection and hiring process. Reviews best practices, tracks/analyzes data, and recommends improvements.
Manages internal transfer process within Customer Care.
Provides career counseling to internal applicants where appropriate.
Manages Orientation Program for all Lifeline employees, including remote offices.
Plans, designs and coordinates job fair and open house programs.
Manages contingent labor process.
Manages relationships with Employment vendors including temporary agencies, background check vendors, and job boards to ensure high quality services, contract compliance and cost control.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:
BS/BA or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years experience as a recruiter in a high-volume environment
Minimum 3 years experience managing vendor relationships
Call-Center or service industry experience a plus

Other:
Demonstrated ability to: plan, organize, prioritize and follow through on tasks and details in a busy, multi-tasking environment.
Demonstrated skills in: problem solving; judgment; flexibility; handling stress.
Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated in a service/support capacity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated discretion in dealing with highly confidential matters.
Working knowledge of computer systems, particularly MS Word and Excel.
