Global Stock Plan Administrator

As a Global Stock Plan Administrator at Micron, you will administer global employee stock plans, including restricted stock and restricted stock units, the Director Stock Incentive Plan, the employee stock purchase plan, and stock option plans. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the preparation and distribution of annual equity pool and awards, preparing and delivering new hire and ongoing equity awards and guidelines, and preparing and filing SEC form 3, 4 and 5 filings. You will also be expected to stay apprised of global equity updates for any locations where Micron has optionees or plans to have optionees. In this position, you will assist in the preparation of international tax and legal equity reporting, as well as prepare, deliver, and support education in equity programs to all international locations and answer and resolve complex employee questions regarding equity. You will also maintain an employee stock database, updating information and running monthly and quarterly reports for finance and tax. This position requires that you partner closely with Legal on equity-related issues, interface with global payroll providers and HR on equity issues, and work on special projects related to equity. You can also expect to prepare special reports and presentations for management about equity programs. You will maintain a vendor relationship with brokers and transfer agents. As needed, you will coordinate, administer, and assist in other aspects of base pay, variable pay, or other compensation programs, practices, or policies.

Successful candidates for this position will have:


A minimum of five years of relevant global stock plan administration experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, in order to identify and analyze problems in depth.

The ability to work independently and use sound judgment.

The ability to plan, organize, and schedule in an efficient and productive manner, focusing on key priorities.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

A working knowledge of various aspects of equity compensation plan issues, including current legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
Education:
Certification as a Certified Equity Professional is preferred; candidates working towards certification will also be considered.
