Director of Human Resources

 

VMW Logistics Inc. a Virginia based company, provider of logistics services to fortune 500 companies in the MID Atlantic region, is currently seeking a talented director for Human Resources team.  The position is accountable for effective development and implementation of recruiting, training and review systems. 

Our HR director will be responsible for attraction, development and continual growth of our people to ensure both individual growth and achievement of corporate goals. In this role, our HR director will be translating growth strategy to each team?s mission and performance expectations. 

 

To be considered for this position, the qualified candidate will have a Bachelors Degree and 5 years work experience in people development and management, project management, process design, documentation, training and appraisal system.

 

In addition, the candidate must be self-starter with high sense of ownership to ensure our people and business processes deliver the results. Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills are necessary to be successful in our organization. It is required to posses the ability to coach and mentor our managers to grow their capacity to deliver stronger results. Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA and HIPAA is preferred.
