HR Assistant-Entry Level

Job Purpose:

To provide administrative, clerical and overall support to the Human Resources Manager of North Eastern Asset Recovery Inc. and Advanced Billing Services, Inc. in addition to assisting on various projects within the Company.




Duties:

* Substantiates applicants' skills by administering and scoring tests.


* Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation.



* Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records.



* Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.



* Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.



* Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the telephone; relaying messages; maintaining equipment and supplies.



* Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.



* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.


* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

* Type letters, memos, spreadsheets and prepare presentations

* Research and answer Human Resource questions for employees

?

* Participate and coordinate Corporate sponsored events



Skills/Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent work related experience


* 1-3 years of previous experience in an administrative support function, preferably in HR


* Excellent organizational and time management skills; exhibits reliable and timely follow-up.


* Excellent customer service, oral communication skills.


* Excellent telephone manner.


* Excellent Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point. Ability to learn new applications/software
* Ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Ability to assimilate easily into a fast paced and team focused environment.
