HR Assistant/People Team Coordinator--Metro New York-007QG
Description The People Team Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Americas People Team in the Metro New York Area. The People Team Coordinator facilitates communication and provides local support for Human Resources (HR) processes and area-based projects. Processes include support for HR policies and procedures, execution of orientation events, and occasionally supporting on-boarding and integration of new hires.
Responsibilities
Provide support and coordination for Area HR processes and programs.
Provide support for planning HR related events and meetings.
Coordinate and execute area-specific HR reports.
Assist in the development of area communications and newsletters.
Coordinate special projects.
Liaise with the Shared Services Center and provide on-site support.
Plan and schedule office orientations working closely with other team members, the Shared Services Center, and Learning Delivery Coordinators.
Support Firmwide Orientation programs.
The People Team Coordinator reports directly to the Area People Team Leader/Designee. Interacts with the People Team Leader on a weekly basis and interacts regularly with individuals in the Shared Services Center.
The People Team Coordinator is responsible for managing last minute scheduling conflicts for orientation, manages timelines and coordinates and supports logistics for people events.

Manage risk and quality; reinforce policies and procedures to ensure high quality of work and have an active program for identifying and managing risks.
Qualifications
To qualify, candidates must have:
* an associate or bachelors degree or equivalent work experience; HR experience a plus
* proficiency in Word, Excel and HR Databases and Systems a plus
* exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results
* strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, presentation and organizational skills
* ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail
* ability to be flexible and prioritize activities
