Human Resources Compliance Advisor, Senior
The department is responsible for designing, administering and implementing Human Resources policies and procedures that are compliant with applicable employment and labor laws. The department is also responsible for managing the company's Affirmative Action Planning (AAP) and Foreign Worker Sponsorship (FWS) programs, developing and maintaining the company's written employment policies, and monitoring other Human Resources compliance programs.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Will proactively advise Human resources and other divisions on compliance with labor and employment laws.
- Develop and recommend corrective measures and courses of action to lower potential risk exposure to the company.
- Design and implement trend analyses for identifying and analyzing compliance issues and solutions to senior management.
- Research and implement best practice programs in response to recommendations and finding of corporate compliance entities (Internal Audit, CORAD, Central Compliance, etc.).
- Lead special projects as assigned by the Human Resources Compliance management team.
A successful candidate will have:
- BA in Business, Human Resources or related field.
- Proficiency with PC applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. HRIS (PeopleSoft) knowledge preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented with multitasking capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
