Summary
Visto Corporation is currently seeking a hands-on Director of Global Compensation, Benefits and HRIS who will be responsible for driving the company?s efforts to provide competitive and affordable compensation and benefits programs which support the company?s business objectives and our ability to hire, engage and retain top talent around the world. This person will also manage our HRIS strategy, ADP HRIS upgrade implementation and all data input and reporting processes such that we efficiently and effectively utilize systems to support our HR programs and services model.
This critical and highly visible position will report to the global Vice President of Human Resources and will be based in our Redwood Shores, CA Office. The incumbent will operate at both a strategic and tactical level and will be a key member of Visto?s HR management team as we build new, and refine existing, HR infrastructure, establish our employer brand, and align ourselves to provide maximum value-add services to our business clients/partners.

Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic development/refinement and management of all global compensation programs including base pay, incentive pay, executive pay, rewards and recognition, retention incentives and stock options such that they competitively position the company, align with the compensation philosophy, are affordable and support the talent acquisition, engagement and retention strategies of Visto
* Develop/refine global compensation infrastructure including the establishment of job classifications, job levels, salary structures and stock option guidelines
* Determine appropriate competitive market surveys and manage participation in them
* Ensure compensation programs are clearly communicated, understood and, unless otherwise agreed, uniformly practiced
* Establish timetables for and drive various annual compensation program reviews/redesigns
* Prepare one-off/group out-of-cycle compensation analyses as needed
* Lead the strategic design/refinement, implementation and administration of the Company's global employee benefit plans in accordance with plan documents, insurance contracts, vendor agreements and applicable laws and regulations
* Guide, manage and develop the compensation and benefits team such that they continue to grow in their careers and are well positioned to provide optimal delivery of services throughout the organization
* Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory benefits processes (e.g., HIPPA) and filing requirements
* Manage all compensation and benefits communications such that employees have a full awareness and understanding of the offerings, and recognize and appreciate their value
* Drive maximum value partnering with external vendors, service providers, brokers and consultants. Ensure that benefits programs are managed and funded in the most cost-effective manner (e.g., by implementing multi-national pooling arrangements, selection of appropriate vendors, etc.)
* Analyze and integrate compensation, benefits, and perquisite programs of merged and acquired companies
* Plan, budget, and manage expenses in line with corporate objectives
* Use various sources (colleagues, professional groups, reports, etc.) to proactively monitor the market for "hot topics?, trends and creative ways to engage, reward and retain Visto?s talent
* Partner with the VP, HR and other executives to prepare agendas, analyses and/or compensation-related materials for BOD and Compensation Committee meetings
* Define and lead HRIS strategy in line with company growth and self service philosophy. Lead the internal implementation of the ADP HRIS application including vendor management, data input and integrity, reporting and associated processes
* Assist with the development and conducting of ?Managing at Visto? training programs
* Partner with the HR team members to design and roll-out maximum value employee on-boarding programs
* Partner with global HR and Marketing on Visto?s employer branding strategy and implementation
* As a senior member of Visto?s HR team, provide generalist/business partner guidance to internal customers and HR team members as needed
Requirements
* BA/BS degree and 10+ years of successful and progressively responsible compensation and benefits experience, with at least 4 years in management, for a technology company (software a plus)
* Solid knowledge of international compensation, benefit and perquisite concepts and programs (e.g., 13th month bonuses, mandatory social insurances, etc.) for at least six of the following countries: China, Japan, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Canada and Germany. A strong willingness an interest in resourcefully and quickly learning about countries for which current knowledge does not exist
* Successful M&A experience including performing due diligence and analyzing and integrating compensation, benefits, and perquisite programs of acquired companies
* Strong organizational, analytical, consulting, relationship building and influencing skills, with a track record of identifying issues and formulating solutions
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Solid knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and practices including those associated with welfare and retirement plans
* The ability to collaborate across boundaries, disciplines, cultures, and levels within the organization
* Strategic, out-of-the-box thinking
* The flexibility to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced, flexible environment
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Experience as an HRIS implementation/upgrade project lead or HRIS management experience very desirable
* Experience building/refining compensation, benefits and HRIS infrastructure
* Passionate about building a world class HR organization
* A pragmatic business orientation and a willingness to do what * HR Generalist knowledge
* Experience managing a budget
* Ability to travel to the U.S., China, Japan and Europe, as needed
