HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
HP Products Corporation (www.hpproducts.com) is looking for an HR Generalist who is seeking a solid career in Human Resources. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Recruit, screen and interview applicants for positions at Indianapolis and remote sitesCoach employees and managers on human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, government regulations and employee relations.Assist HR Director with numerous key projects, such as: development of a compensation tool for merit delivery, annual filing of EE0-1 survey, tracking/analysis of HR metrics, streamline/document current HR processes, etc.Facilitates and provides training to the workforce (new hire orientation, Hazmat, etc.)Perform benefits administration to include change reporting and communication of information to employeesServe as a back-up for other HR department recruiting efforts and functions
Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in business, human resources /related area or equivalent experienceGeneral knowledge of human resources related laws and regulations, including the areas of ADA, FMLA, COBRA, AAP, DOT, Hazmat and Worker?s CompensationDemonstrated recruiting experience, with a focus on sales candidates is desirableSound knowledge of compensation administration with an emphasis on job analysis and evaluation, survey participation, merit process and managing projects.Demonstrated experience with tracking and analyzing HR metricsDemonstrated computer experience (Word, Outlook, Excel, Windows, Powerpoint and ADP)Effective oral and communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills- able to interact with all levels of employeesFamiliarity with DOT regulations, desirableAble to travel to remote sites in order to conduct new hire orientation sessions and other training
