Description
The Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management Human Resources team has an immediate opportunity for a Senior HR Data and Compensation Manager (VP Level). The individual in this position will be located in 2000 Westchester Avenue, Purchase, New York.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
? Actively working with human resources professionals and business managers to:
? Provide human capital reporting and analytics (i.e. headcount, staffing ratios)
? Provide reporting and analytics on compensation planning and expense
? Provide analytical/data support for all HR related activities (i.e. business restructuring, staff reductions)
? Provide support for various HR/Business processes and initiatives as needed (i.e. performance evaluations)
? Proactively develop and build reporting/analytics/processes for HR and the business
? Liaising with other departments (i.e., FA Compensation, Benefits, Payroll) as necessary to resolve issues
? Manage and support the ?Year-End? process (Performance Evaluation, Compensation, Promotion)
? Manage and support the ?Talent Review? process
? Manage staff of data managers/analysts
? Ad hoc reporting as needed
? Participates in special projects as required
Skills Required
REQUIREMENTS
? A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 to 7 years HR Data/Compensation experience.
? Management experience with the ability to be a ?Player Coach?.
? A strong client focus with outstanding judgment, critical thinking, and verbal and written skills.
? A team orientation with strong influencing skills and demonstrated ability or aptitude for senior leadership.
? The ability to deal with an evolving, dynamic organization.
? The ability to engage in reasoned dialogue on all issues, to be flexible, and affect change.
? Self-starter with strong project management skills.
? A strong knowledge of Excel, Access, and report writing software (i.e. table/relationship based reporting)
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, high change environment.
? Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills.
? Position reports to the Head of HR Comp and Data for the Global Wealth Management Group
