Description
? Actively working with business leaders and employees to support the day-to-day needs of the client groups including:
? Address complex employee relations matters, investigate, where appropriate, and provide appropriate recommendations
? Providing coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution. Supporting managers on documenting and communicating performance feedback.
? Working with managers analyzing staffing levels, providing supporting documentation regarding staffing level approvals and recruiting candidates with an emphasis on alternative candidate search vehicles to support diversity goals.
? Monitors and oversees all compensation initiatives for the region
? Liaising with other departments (i.e., FA Compensation) as necessary to resolve issues.
? Supporting the ?year-end? process (Performance Evaluation, Compensation, Promotion) by serving as client group liaison for the HR team and other appropriate divisional and corporate offices.
? Establishes strategy for diversity, recruiting and retention of hiring for Financial Advisors and management.
? Responsible for implementing and monitoring the talent management process, including the oversight of branch management promotion.
? Participating in or leading the development and implementation of corporate, divisional, and Human Resources policies, programs, practices, and processes and communicating so employees and managers clearly understand purpose and expectations.
? Facilitating change; promoting championing and supporting organizational change.
? Conducting internal training programs, as required.
? Acts as project manager for HR related business initiatives ? including but not limited to branch closings, reductions in force, and management development.


Skills Required
? A Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of Human Resources generalist experience.
? A strong client focus with outstanding judgment, critical thinking, and verbal and written skills.
? A team orientation with strong influencing skills and demonstrated ability or aptitude for team leadership.
? The ability to deal with the uncertainties of an evolving, dynamic organization.
? The ability to engage in reasoned dialogue on all issues, to be flexible, and affect change.
? Self starter with strong project management skills.
? A working knowledge of personal productivity software, including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications, working knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, high change environment.
? Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills.
