HR Generalist - Chantilly

Oakwood Worldwide is searching for an HR GENERALIST. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, & who is interested in an opportunity to work for a reputable, top-tier organization.

The HR GENERALIST will manage all areas of HR by providing guidance to managers and employees with regard to employee relations, policies and procedures, and federal/state laws. Areas include: employee counseling, hiring, terminations & policy interpretation.

DUTIES:
-Provides guidance to managers for employee counseling & disciplinary action
-Investigate & resolve employee related grievances
-Provide information & answer questions regarding company policies
-Research & respond to outside agency grievances, in partnership with the Home Office HR dept.
-Ensures new hire documentation & orientation
-Full cycle recruiting

REQUIREMENTS:
working knowledge of policies & procedures
Knowledge of labor & employment laws, EEOC.
2-5 years HR Generalist experience with a strong emphasis in recruitment
Intermediate MS Office skills
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
