HR Generlist

TMSi, a national 3rd Party Logistics company seeks a Human Resources Generalist for its distribution center in Mascot, TN (10 miles northeast of Knoxville)

 

This position will be responsible for activities such as:

? Leave of absences administration, including FMLA, Work Comp, and Disability

? Local benefits administration

? Local policy administration

? Recruiting, hiring activities

? Lead/participate in safety programs

? Assisting the HRM with Labor Relations matters (union environment)

? Processes new hire paperwork completes orientations and reviews personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.

? Organizational and Leadership development programs

? Organizes the HR and office operations and procedures such as order processing paperwork, preparation of payrolls, personnel files, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services. 

? Prepares activities reports as needed? and maintains contact with customers and outside vendors.

 

Reporting to an HR Manager, and working closely with an operations manager, the ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, team player with a minimum 5 years of experience in the HR Administration field, preferably in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment. A Bachelor?s degree or combination of education and experience preferred, but not required.  PHR strongly preferred.
