KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Cummins Performance Management System(CPMS) Definitions
This position will be responsible for all Line HR activities supporting the ES Operations group in the Wisconsin area - including Mineral Point and Stoughton
Advise and support management and employees on all HR related matters to ensure application of HR strategies and policies and compliance with Affirmative Action/EEO, ADA, and other legal HR issues
Participate and coordinate Diversity initiatives
Promote the "right environment" to support the company's vision, Cummins Operating Systems (COS) and Cummins Business Model (CBM). Provide HR leadership and counsel on employee relations issues.
Drive HR improvement projects. Be an advocate Six Sigma process and other continuous process improvement processes.
Monitor and provide coaching on CPMS process

Reporting:
' Develop/maintain all HR related reports
' Present HR reports in a timely manner
' Develop key strategies resulting from report information

Training:
' Identify training opportunities for exempt and non-exempt
' Plan, Develop, organize and coordinate training programs - including: IDP, ODR management, training/education facilitation, planning and
coordination of Training.
' Evaluate training programs for effectiveness

Recruitment /Employment
' Coordinate and monitor all recruitment / staffing efforts
' Evaluate employment levels
' Coordinate new employee orientation

Benefit Administration:
' Evaluate wage and benefit surveys within the local market
' Evaluate wage and benefit structure / levels and make recommendations
' Coordinate benefit administration

Budget Administration:
' Prepares budget related to Human Resources
' Evaluates variances to the HR budget
' Implements cost containment measures


SKILLS - FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL:
Bachelor degree in HR, Business or related field essential, Masters degree is desireable
Functional HR Knowledge and Strong HR Generalist skills
Three or more years Gneralist experience desired
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Familiarity with labor/employee relations, training/education, organizational development, Affirmative Action programs, compensation and benefits analysis, performance management and HRIS
Basic Computer Skills
