HR Payroll Tax Analyst

CORESTAFF Services, a leading national staffing firm, is currently recruiting for an HR Payroll Tax Analyst for a telecommunications company in the Plano area. This is a long-term contract position paying a market competitive salary.

Job Description: will be a team lead for the day-to-day activity for HR data systems and payroll. Will ensure responsibility for accurate and timely processing of employee HR data. Ensures data is accurate and consistent with company policy, practice and programs. Obtains appropriate approvals as required and assist in efficient value added to processes. Be able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities at once - response to request via email, verify information for completeness.

Audits data on a regular basis and ensures data integrity - Distributes and create AD-HOC query reports using SAP reporting tool - participates in process review and provide user input and recommendation for system changes - Works closely with Business Partners and system analysts for testing and implementation of new releases and enhancements - Resolve problems with system interfaces and implement resolution with IT group -Assist HR Business Partners with training and knowledge on HRMS procedures. Must be able to provide leadership and supervision to other team members

Will also, conduct activities which support the review, analysis and account reconciliation process for to ensure payroll SOX activities are being followed and documented, special projects. Responsible for payroll tax filings and reporting wage and benefit information to various federal, state, and local agencies.
