HR Representative – Employee Relations/Compensation

Pay By Touch has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and on CNN as one of the pioneers in the fast emerging Biometrics Technologies, where fingerprints may replace money, passwords and keys. Pay By Touch is leading the introduction of payment systems using fingerprint biometrics in retails stores. Today, over 1,500 grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores and banks are using Pay by Touch services.

 

We are growing fast and we have an immediate need for an experienced HR Representative

to implement new and existing HR related programs, assist with the resolution of employee relations issues, build strong relationships throughout the organization and provide quality service. 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Inform and counsel our organization on Human Resources policies, procedures, performance management, recruitment, employee relations, and employment law. 

 

Present and/or coordinate Human Resource training sessions for employees and management.

 

Assist with the creation of compensation practices including structure, salary and (pre IPO) stock, performance management process, promotions, and succession planning.

 

Partner with HR team and management to continually evaluate and develop all programs, procedure and best practice for M&A integration. 

 

Assist in the development of value-added programs in areas of training, development, retention and job performance. 

 

Provide various types of employee reports/analysis, including compensation, organization structure/status and attrition.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

 

Minimum 5 years of HR experience with an emphasis in employee relations & compensation.

 

Demonstrated understanding of employment law and human resources legislation.

 

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

 

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written and quality customer service orientation. 

 

Solid computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS system with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)

 

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail.

 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
