HR Specialist (069175)

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS:

Functions as a HR generalist in a Corporate Human Resources Operations environment. Primary responsibilities include tracking and administering all leave of absence to include military leave, short-term disability, and FMLA. Will also process pay increases, new hire paperwork, address changes, etc into the HR database and perform administrative functions as required.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Administrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.

Machine: Calculator, personal computer.

Physical Demands: Speech clarity, repetitive motions?making frequent movements with fingers and hands, standing?remaining on one?s feet in an upright position, sitting?remaining in the normal seated position, handling?seizing, holding, grasping, or otherwise working with hands.

Vision Requirements: Able to pass standardized color vision test, as required by test performed.

License/Certification/Education: High School diploma required. Associates degree in Business or Management preferred. Experience in administering FMLA and short-term disability programs also preferred along with excellent data entry skills and basic Excel knowledge.
