HR Specialist/Recruiter

 

Witte Bros. Exchange, Inc., located in Troy, MO (40 miles NW of St. Louis), is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Specialist to recruit employees, expand company growth, and coordinate other HR-related responsibilities. This position will be vital in developing and refining the recruitment, screening, and hiring process for our applicant pool.  This person will work closely with our PR Director to increase our applicant pool and ensure the company is obtaining qualified candidates.

 

Duties:Oversee company recruitment, which will include developing a streamlined, consistent recruitment and hiring process. The emphasis on recruitment will be for driver positions within our company. Review current hiring and screening practices, recommend methods to improve current processes, and implement the effective change. Participate in other HR-related functions including the coordination of career development for driver employees, policy administration, performance evaluations, and employee relations. Be able to work with other managers throughout the company to gain insight and understanding of the job duties required of prospective candidates. Work closely with our Director of PR to coordinate advertising and other necessary recruiting and marketing materials. Help to develop a strong and effective employee relations and communications environment.

 

Requirements:Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited school, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organization Development, or related field. 2+ Years experience of recruitment and/or human resource management experience. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with all employees and managers A desire for achievement and an ambition for success that can excel with minimal supervision and direction. Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and functions
