HRIS Supervisor - PeopleSoft
This person will be responsible for setup, accurate maintenance and compliance of all personnel records and set up tables in the Human Resources Information System by monitoring data input/output and ensuring HRIS staff follows all policies/procedures.
The Supervisor will train the HRIS staff by monitoring system maintenance for data integrity and ensuring transactions are processed timely in addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the HRIS staff.
Since Tweeter is a national company, this person will lead the regional HR staff and all Tweeter associates in all functional, and some technical, areas of the Human Resources Information System. Resolves security access issues and data integrity issues spanning PeopleSoft, ADP Payroll system and Success Factors systems. Resolve process and procedural issues for HRIS staff, Regional HR staff and all levels of management.
This person will project manage the development of training materials for all Users of the Human Resources Information System by drafting processes and procedures, testing drafted materials to insure accuracy and completeness and by testing materials with users from various functional areas within the organization. Responsible for development and production of People soft reports.
When apprised, the Supervisor reviews impending business issues that will have a direct impact on the system by working with management to assess the impact and to gather required information to complete a business case for the issues. Some types of business issues that would directly impact the system are, changes to benefit plans, changes to benefit providers, changes in benefit eligibility criteria, bringing on new groups of employees via an acquisition, interfacing the Human Resources Information System with other internal Tweeter systems, i.e. intranet, ADP Payroll, Point of Sale, etc.
Bachelor's Degree or comparable working experience, plus additional courses/seminars related to Human Resources Information Systems and processing.
Minimum 3 years experience related to PeopleSoft HRMS Modules (HR, Base Benefits/Ben Admin) and at least 1-year supervisory experience is preferred. Compliance expertise regarding COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, Labor Laws, etc. Project development and implementation experience. Experience with Success factors performance management system & ADP Payroll a plus.
Must have PeopleSoft and Supervisory experience
