The HRMS Analyst position requires a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to become a key participant in a high-visibility, results-oriented team environment. Responsibilities will cover the full project lifecycle including initial project definition, requirement specification, design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

A significant aspect of this position will be to understand existing business processes supporting the PeopleSoft Human Resources and Benefits systems. The successful candidate will gain an understanding of current business processes and recommend solutions to drive business and align the process with defined business objectives. He/she will also transfer knowledge to the user base and empower the stakeholder with the necessary tools to make informed business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Functional lead in the design, development, and implementation of HRIS projects alongside business partners in support of ongoing process improvement.

- Responsible for supporting the PeopleSoft HR, Benefits, and Benefits Administration application by ensuring that table setup is aligned with various business processes.

- Assist in prioritizing functional and technical resources to set realistic deliverable expectations and ensure project target dates are met.

- Ensure that user requirements are thoroughly and accurately documented in accordance with standard methodologies.

- Work with business partners to facilitate user acceptance testing for project related work.

- Responsible for the design, maintenance, and reporting functions of the PeopleSoft system.

- Create interfaces and ensure audit controls surrounding system maintenance.

- Perform necessary follow up with business partners to ensure new or modified system functionality is performing satisfactorily.

- Interact with cross-functional teams where system interface activity may occur.

- Develop and execute test scripts for PeopleSoft maintenance (tax bundles) and upgrades. CSX Transportation is the largest company in the CSX family employing 34,000 management and union employees. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Decision Support, or Business related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in a functional Business Analyst role preferred.

- PeopleSoft or similar HRMS system experience a plus.

- Familiarity with project development methodology and software.

- Highly motivated and able to work independently and within a team environment.

- Demonstrated problem solving skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft office application suite.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to multi-task.

- Strong analytical skills with high comfort level to detail.
