HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

Washington Real Estate Investment Trust, a well-established, leading firm in the commercial real estate industry in Rockville, MD, with an excellent company culture and benefits is searching for an energetic team member to support Human Resources & Payroll departments.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Management of all administrative support functions for the Human Reources department.
Assistance with recruitment activity including but not limited to: placing ads, processing employment applications, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, pre-employment screenings, and applicant tracking system entry.
Conduct new employee orientations.
Entering and maintaining all employee data (hire, term, transfers, benefits, pay changes, leaves of absence, training) in Ceridian HRIS system in accordance with payroll deadlines.
Filing and maintaining confidential employee personnel files.


Qualifications:
Must be able to maintain confidentiality in sensitive circumstances involving personnel & other public company matters.

Must be competent in Microsoft Office, ability to multi-task and interact with all levels of staff in a high-paced environment; strong organizational and communication skills, must have HRIS experience ? Ceridian Web or Source 500 preferred.

Minimum of 3 yearrs experience in an administrative assistant role, preferably in the Human Resources field.
