Human Resources Coordinator


Fox Latin American Channel is currently seeking and Individual who will be relied on to provide customer service to employees with questions about benefits, salary, vacation, leaves of absence, and payroll. Key functions will include compiling and keeping personnel records, serving as liaison with corporate payroll and benefits and preparing new hire packages, in addition to providing new employee orientation.

Duties:

 Review files or documents for information-gathering purposesMaintain vacation, overtime, and other employee reports Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classificationsUse PeopleSoft program to enter, access or retrieve employee data Maintain job descriptions Evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicant for employment Interview candidates Prepare offer letters and employment verification correspondence Provide orientation to new hires on benefits information, policies, and procedures Fill out business or government forms Prepare ads and arrange for publishing of job openingsProvide employee ?customer service?Prepare and send e-mail announcements to employees Some scheduling of activities, classes, or events


Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in an office/business setting.Ability to handle various employee issues in a fast-paced, confidential and sensitive manner.Proficiency in office software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, along with knowledge of and experience in Internet use and databases.Proficiency in PeopleSoft systems preferred.Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills.Well-developed analytical skills and strong attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks.Ability to speak Spanish.Knowledge of Portuguese or Italian a plus.
