The Consulting workforce is made up of three groups: Business Consulting, Business and Systems Integration Consulting and Technology Consulting. This consulting group structure provides outstanding opportunities to develop highly specialized skills that will help you advance your career.
Job Description
Business Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. Human Performance professionals help companies derive maximum value from their people though innovative business-oriented approaches to the human capital elements of the enterprise including workforce support and enablement and the management of change. HR Transformation professionals redesign the HR service delivery model and related functional areas through a blend of technologies and organization-wide change management activities. Their focus includes global, seamless HR infrastructure and applications, web-based portal to the organization's information, processes, and workflows, and integrated performance infrastructure.
The PeopleSoft HR Consultant will be a member of the Human Performance Service Line. This candidate will collaborate with Accenture client teams to define, architect and deliver transformational human performance management solutions. This candidate will be required to demonstrate an understanding of processes and best practices within human resource functional areas and how to use PeopleSoft functionality to support those best practices. This candidate will also be required to do the following:
-Be able to create logical plans / approaches for activities or project segments for PeopleSoft HCM delivery
-Balance and prioritize his or her own or team activities to ensure critical items are addressed
-Perform a variety of complex or straightforward tasks within the scope of the function
-Keep supervisors aware of own and/or team?s workload and potential conflicting commitments
-Interact with client frequently around specific work efforts/deliverables
-Coach junior team members and provide advice on procedures/work methods to individuals who may be at the same level
-Effectively leverage his or own and/or team?s skills
-Exhibit working knowledge of functional areas by calling on previous job experience and training
-Consultant level candidate should have experience with large engagement projects and have participated in at least one full implementation project lifecycle
Qualifications
? Candidate must have at least 2 years configuration/functional experience with PeopleSoft HR modules
? Proven understanding of processes and best practices within HRMS functional areas and how to use PeopleSoft functionality to support those best practices
? Prior full life cycle implementation experience required
? Experience leading and guiding teams of multiple individuals
? Prior consulting experience is preferred
? Role requires 80-100% travel

? Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
? Desire to work in an information systems environment
? Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
? Excellent leadership and management skills
