Human Resource Generalist Sr.

As a staff member/business partner, participates in all activities, staff meetings, organization planning, etc. for assigned division/business unit. Manages and participates in employment effort for the division. Advises and counsels managers and employees concerning disciplinary issues and investigations. Provides career development counseling for employees. Takes leadership role in recommending and executing organizational development, management development, and team building activities for the business unit. Ensures adherence to local laws and regulations in all personnel actions for the business unit. Acts as liaison between division and corporate Human Resources on compensation, benefits, relocation, employment, tax, wellness, and training/development issues.
Participates in business unit staffing plan. Facilitates communication of new and revised HR programs and policies to business unit. Partners with business unit management to assist in achieving business units' mission and objectives. As required, assists with redeployment and reduction in force activities for business unit. Follows communicated procedures and practices to ensure integrity of HR data for assigned group. Supports Corporate HR initiated activities such as HR Bluebook, Organization Audit, performance evaluation cycles, etc. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability/willingness to travel.B.S. level degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related discipline; 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
