Human Resource Manager - Healthcare - Durham, NC
ARAMARK is seeking a Human Resource Manager for a healthcare facility in Durham, NC. The Human Resource Manager manages the process and implementation of the following: payroll, benefits, employee incentives, retention, turnover, recruitment, safety, training and development.
Responsibilities include:
*Heavy employee relations with emphasis in working with non-exempt employee populations.
*Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour regulations, ADA, FMLA and more.
*Plan, develop, implement, direct and coordinate the administration of HR policies to ensure compliance with corporate, local, state and federal regulations, and provide consultation and direction for compliance activities.
*Responsible for the execution of projects related to meeting the strategic and tactical goals of Affirmative Action Plans and Diversity initiatives supporting the overall corporate mission.
*Provide support and leadership in areas of recruiting and staffing; performance management; compensation and benefit administration; training and development; unemployment and worker's compensation; while serving as a liaison between the healthcare facility and the corporate human resources department.
*Demonstrated experience working with line managers, as well as, healthcare executive staff.
Requirements:
*Bachelors Degree.
*Develop credible and active relationships with all members of Regional Management and with Corporate Management.
*Proven knowledge in compensation, benefits administration, employment/labor law compliance and workforce planning.
*Maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality.
*Provide complete composure with the ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast paced customer service environment.
Ideal candidate will possess the following:
*3 to 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience, preferably in a medical/hospital environment.
*PHR or SPHR certification.
*Strong employee relation's background.
*Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
*Experience in supporting multiple business units a plus.
*Demonstrated ability to build a strong partnership with senior management and managing a support staff.
