This position is in the Technicolor Home Entertainment Services division which produces more than 1.5 billion DVD?s, 500 Million Videocassettes and 300 million CD?s a year.

This position will report to the Training Manager.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILLITIES:

 Lead the implementation of a Learning Management System, and manage the system once operationalManage the training metrics, including planning, analyzing, and developing metrics reports on all training activitiesManage the training scheduling process delineated by user groupPartner with technical and functional organizations to ensure proper training coordination by designated user groupBe responsible for resolving issues and making decisions on training solutionsBe responsible for all aspects of communicating the training schedule and activitiesBe responsible for all aspects of purchasing classes from outside vendorsSupport the training coordination efforts across other sites.Make decisions and recommendations for best business practicesManage and maintain all training rooms and equipmentBe responsible for ensuring proper equipment and room configurations for all training activities.Research and make recommendations on current industry training trends and optionsPerform ad-hoc duties as needed.

 

 

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

 

 BA degree2+ Years of Experience as a Training Coordinator Solid working knowledge of a Learning Management SystemExperience in implementing and managing a Learning Management SystemExperience in analyzing and reporting on training and productivity metricsDemonstrated experience in coordinating training delineated by user groupAbility to understand and track the scope, schedule, deliverables, and milestones of a training project.Ability to research and evaluate training trends and optionsExperience in tracking and managing vendor costs and accountsExcellent customer interface skills and professionalismStrong problem solving, analysis, and decision making skillsDemonstrated ability to learn and understand software packagesDemonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions in executing projects required to achieve specific goals.
