Veterans Medical Research Foundation, a non-profit organization, is seeking a qualified Human Resources Clerk (JOB# MS-HRC-0084-06).



QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
Qualified applicant must be detail-oriented and proficient with Word, Excel, and Access.  Candidate must also be able to multi-task and possess excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. Must be able to identify problems and resolve in a timely manner.  Must possess a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and resources appropriately.  Has task and time management skills that demonstrate efficiency and effectiveness.  Prior experience with Intuit FundWare software desired. Experience with HR programs and working in a business environment, a must.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of Human Resources (HR) and general administrative and clerical duties; provides administrative and clerical support for all functions within the Human Resources Department, as well as specific tasks for specific functions within the Department. Duties may include, but are not limited to:  processing mail; responding to in-person, telephonic, and written inquiries or routing to the appropriate personnel; creating and maintaining security and integrity of records in a timely manner; monitoring/ordering office supplies and purchase orders;  creating general correspondence and other documents as needed, as well as general keyboarding tasks or entering data; photocopying; preparing reports as needed; assembling packets; assisting in coordination of meetings, conference rooms, and orientations; tracking and maintaining I-9 forms; distributing timesheets, paychecks, and reimbursement checks; supporting the Benefits Administrator with open enrollment, new hire enrollment activities, and other benefit support as well as providing back up and assistance in providing Employees with quality customer service in various HR areas.
