Human Resources Clerk with the World's Largest Bookseller

Will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department and assistance to the Human Resources Manager.  Responsibilities include:

 

? Maintain and update multiple Excel spreadsheets and reports on a daily basis

? Track and report employee time off

? Maintain and update organizational charts and internal job postings 

? Assist with completion and processing of new employee paperwork.

? Maintain and update personnel records

? Provide backup support to the Payroll Administrator enabling the payroll to run smoothly in her absence.

? Answer general HR inquiries from employees

? Assist with staff recruitment efforts

? Coordinate employee activities

? Maintain a high level of confidentiality in dealing with employee information

 

Requirements:

 

?  1+ years Human Resources experience in similar position working with an employee population of 100+.

?  Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

?  Prior experience with Kronos and Peoplesoft systems strongly preferred.
